 Alpha-1 Europe Alliance opgericht om te pleiten voor toegang tot de best beschikbare zorg en therapieën voor alle mensen die leven met Alpha-1 Antitrypsine deficiëntie in Europa

BRUSSEL – 9 november 2023 – PRLog — De Europese alfa-1 antitrypsine deficiëntie (AATD of alfa-1) patiëntengemeenschap kondigt met trots aan dat vanaf 17 oktober 2023 de nieuw opgerichte Alpha-1 Europe Alliance, gevestigd in België, opgericht en operationeel is. Het afgelopen jaar hebben voorzitters van landelijke alfa-1 patiëntenorganisaties in heel Europa gewerkt aan de oprichting van een alliantie die nationale alfa-1 patiëntenorganisaties in Europa vertegenwoordigt en pleit voor toegang tot tijdige diagnose, geïndividualiseerde zorg en holistische therapieën.
